As we recently learned that the Valhalla Shooting Club and Elk Mountain Resort are officially ceasing operations, I thought it would be nice to post this in honor of the good times, especially during the Great Training, that went on there from 2003-2007....

Rob Pincus and Jeremiah Miles setting up with crew from "Weaponology" TV show for a demonstration of High Angle Sniping.  The target is a man sized dropper at about 500 yards at a downward angle of about 20 degrees.

The rifle is a custom Robar .308.

This is a detailed explanation of the logic behind I.C.E. Training Company's emphasis on worst-case scenario "Counter Ambush" Training. Rob Pincus uses the "Chart of Doom" to illustrate why it is important to train for the worst plausible situations, knowing that you can more easily deal with exceptions to your standard training techniques when you are in less danger and have more control.
